Annapurna, Khopra Ridge Trek – 15 Days
If you’re looking for the perfect week-long trek, a little off-the-beaten-path and with great views, this Khopra Ridge trek is a great choice. It combines the best of what Nepal has to offer. The Khopra Ridge is located away from the busier trails of Annapurna region but provides equally remarkable views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang and Nilgiri. The Khopra Ridge (3,660m) is reached by a steady climb through alpine meadows and pastures and provides a fine viewpoint overlooking the Kali Gandaki River for below. From the ridge, the mountains are a panorama of shimmering snow and ice. This trek is a great way to experience the beauty of the Himalaya landscape and mountain ranges in an exceedingly more tranquil and solitude manner. The route follows a local trail that takes you down into the valley north of Ghorepani. “Khopra Ridge” Without a doubt, one of the best short treks in Nepal.
