Nepal Memory maker Pvt. Ltd. is a trustworthy and registered Company under the laws of Nepal and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions.Please read the following booking conditions very carefully:
1 reservation
1.1 The rates of each tour, trekking trip and excursions will be provided by e-mail within 48 hours after your demand for information and quotation.
1.2 Reservation can be made through e-mail, fax, we chat or telephone. You must specify us the chosen tour or treks, the desired dates of departure/return and the number of participants.
1.3 The services included or not included in the tariff will be specified for each circuit.
The reservation must be done at least 30 days before the date of arrival in Nepal by payment of an installment of 20% of the total amount deposit can be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard) or we chat.
1.4 The remaining balance will be made upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal. If final payment is not received 2 days before of your departure, cancellation conditions will apply. Final trip documentation will be released upon full trip payment.
1.5 We accept your last minute booking with 100% payment (07 days prior to tour starting date only in cases of Nepal trips, but last minute booking will not be acceptable for Tibet tripe).
2 Cancellations / Refund
2.1 All cancellation must be answered in written, either by e-mail or by fax, directly to our agency in Kathmandu. The date of trip cancellation is the date on which the written cancellation is received by the company.
2.2 Up to 30 days before arriving in Nepal: reimbursement from down payment of 20%. An amount of US $ 50.00 per person is retained for the paper work.
From 30 to 20 days before arriving in Nepal: 50% from the fixed rate.
Less than 20 days before arriving in Nepal: 70% from the fixed rate.
No refund will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun
The company reserves the right to cancel any trip you booked; besides it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum numbers state otherwise.
You acknowledge that travel on a Nepal Memory Makers trip requires a degree of flexibility, and understand that the trip route, accommodation and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances
If the company cancels a departure which is guaranteed to run we will full refund the trip price, plus you are entitled.
to take an alternative trip or postpone of the same value without any charge. A provision to the company reserves full right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond its’ control (i.e.: natural disasters ,cancellation of flight , consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences ). In such a case, the company will refund the trip price only.
3. Travel Insurance
It is a condition of joining any Nepal Memory Makers holidays that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks. This insurance must include medical coverage, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services. We also strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. You should be aware that some policies do not include, or restrict, cover for this type of travel. You must ensure that the policy you do take provides an adequate level of protection and covers you for the activities involved.
You must carry proof of insurance (e.g. your insurance certificate) with you on the holiday; Upon arriving in Kathmandu, it is necessary to provide us with a photocopy of your insurance with its number, as well as the contact telephone and fax number of the insurance company of your country of domicile We do not advice to get Insurance here in Kathmandu. Only our staffs (guides, sherpas, porters, etc.) are insured through a local agency. We will give you more information about this subject in the practical information that we deliver after your reservation
4. Papers & Documents
All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
5. Your personal belongings
On any account, we’re not answerable for any loss or damage of your luggage or property belonging to you even when shouldered by porters, ponies or vehicles. That means your personal possessions, luggage are at your risk at the times.
For all the domestic flights in Nepal, the total weight of baggage is limited to 15 kg per person.
During the trekking an tours, the personal baggage entrusted to the porters is limited to 15 kg per person
6. Clients’ Risk & Responsibility
A tour / trek guide who represents Nepal Memory Makers deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such case.
When booking on a Nepal Memory Makers trip you understand that Nepal Memory Makers runs adventure trips, where accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene, telecommunication facilities, level of infrastructure development and medical facilities are not the same that you are used to at home, or would find on a conventional holiday. This type of holiday inherently involves a high level of personal risk, which you agree to fully assume.
You understand that during the course of the trip certain events may occur, including, but not limited to, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, political instability and the forces of nature. You agree to assume all risks associated with the journey to the maximum extent permitted by Nepalese law.
On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with.
We reserve the right to revise pricing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. But, we put forth effort to keep on the present rate.
